Companies House fees set to rise
Companies House is increasing its fees on 1 May 2024 to “bring them in line with the costs of providing our service”. This could impact contractors who need to incorporate a new company, or make changes to the details of an existing company, such as a change of name, confirmation statements, re-registration of a company and other services.
The most notable changes include:
- The fees for dissolving your company (voluntary strike off) is currently £8 and it is being increased by £25 to £33.
- The cost for incorporating online is currently £12, and will be increasing by £38 to £50.
- A change which will affect every company is the increase in the cost of digitally filing a confirmation statement. The current cost of filing this is £13, and as of May this will be increased by £21 to £34.
